A nice day to go fishing...

Post by Jason »

The temps have been in the 50's all week. Spring is finally here and I've been dying to wet a fly at one of my favorite grayling ponds. Imagine my disappointment to find this.

Oh well. Maybe two more weeks.

Please consider that your trip there wasn't all a waste: I think the photos are beautiful and thanks for sharing. :D

Down here on the Snake River plain we finally had three nice days in a row. Last evening I caught 19 largemouth in front of my house and today I was able to hook up with 20, topped by a 21" fish that took a soft frog in about a foot of water. She measured 21" and I'm sure she topped 4 pounds. Our weather is still typical of late March or April, not early May.
