Well, I do not have a K and I want one. If this reel was a bit more minty, I might go for $600 but since we are dealing with pitting of the chrome and the need of a handle replacement, I would offer $350 as long as the head plate has no cracks or chips. These Model K reels do have the habit of chipping at the handle spindle boss.
You say you paid $500, so that would make my offer no good. So why am I even here? I always tell myself to take the shot, even if it is a long shot.
The fact that this is the Model K with Star Drag means this is the common Model K. If this was the non-star model, this discussion would not be happening and the reel would already be sold.
