WTB...Pflueger Medalist spools!

Bring me your tired, your poor, your medalist spools without reels...i'm trying to make some decent spools out of ones that have broken down plastic spool guards and handles. Ideally, I'd like to round up some of the older spools with metal spool guards, but unabused plastic ones with Made In USA on them (not the later asian versions). Also could use some of the drag screws...I'm willing to buy any of your assorted clunkers for parts! Let me know what you have and what you might need to get them out of hock.

YO Deke! May be able to help. I'll check the Medalist boxes and see what I can come up with. What models? I think I have one that is still somewhere up in NY at some obscure fly fishing museum in the snow in the cold alone!

Me again Deke: I have the following (in hand): An excellent 1495 metal release spool with equally nice knob (close to unused).
A new in-box spool for a Supreme 577 SW reel (in hand).
Another new in box spool somewhere in NY due back here in early 2011 (?) for a larger Medalist (1496?).

LOL...I didn't steal it...Rick just can't type fast enough using those two fingers! Re spools, I'd be interested in the Medalist spool you have plus any that might reappear next year. I'll email you and we can work it out...wouldn't want Rick to try and outbid me
