I live about 30 miles from Minneapolis, we did not have any damage from the storm. It has been a very wet and cold start to the year.

Yo Birddog! Glad to know all is well...except cold weather. Heck, here in Nashville Friday it was 52 degrees! Today? Low 90s!
Cheers for cicadas!

Hey speaking of Cicadas, did you try any of the chocolate covered ones I've been hearing about?

Could be upper 80's here next week. Hopefully no bad weather comes with the warm up.

I live about 1 1/2 hours east of Joplin and we had tree damage and flooding but nothing like what Joplin had. The store I work at has donated pallets of bottled water and is taking donations from our customers and sends a load about every other day over there to help. I feel bad for the ones who lost loved ones.

We got hit in Battle Creek, MI on Sunday, entire city without power some areas look like a bomb went off with all the trees down, power lines in streets, roofs blown off houses, etc. Nothing like Joplin or OK City, but still pretty bad. Fortunately, no deaths or serious injuries.

I really feel for the people affectected by these storms. The Joplin tornado all the lives lost and the damage that it caused is hard to imagine.
