9 Pflueger Fly Reels - SOLD

Post by Len Sawisch »

So I would like to make a lot of money off these, but not too much (plus shipping). Let me know if any of these flutter your ticker:

Image

Top
Medalist 1496 1/2
Medalist 1495 1/2
Medalist 1495
All three have the rectangle line port

Middle
Medalist 1494 DA
Medalist 1495 Akron
Medalist 1498 Akron (click is iffy in one direction)
Again with the rectangle line port

Bottom
1554 Sal-Trout - plastic knob is crumbling
Progress 60 foot and body are tweeked
Progress 60 very nice!

Let me know if you need more info, or if there is a sleeper here and you don't really need it but you want me to be careful to not significantly under-sell, unless it's to an ORCA member who deserves a break, or something like that.

Len

You have a good eye, Sir! It is a nice rack! Holds 27 reels to a side, times four is - ah - about a 100 or so . . .

Picked it up at an antique store for a song (Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water, as I recall). It swivels around and is on a five armed wheeled base so I can move it all around my shop. Great for fly reels and baitcasters - not so hot for spinning reels.

Ok, Len...I figure those will easily go in a medium flat rate box, so we're now at $10.50...what do i have to add to that to relieve your suffering?

Well, if I actually knew anything about fly reels, I would have put prices on them in the first place - low ball me and we'll go from there!
