Fun at the nflcc nationals

Post by john elder »

Well, met a lot of people I've known for 5 or more years and never met! Great bunch and a great prelude to our nationals. Looked at tackle for 5 hours and all I dragged home was this old beater

What a piece of junk! How could you be so foolish Deke?

Sorry I couldn't be there. Always great to visit with folks. Take care-and take care of that reel too!

Aloha from warm and sunny Nashville.

Hi John,

Great reel you got

What size is it?

I hope that I once will have the time/money to travel over to visit one of the american shows...
In september we have the next here in Denmark, and on the list there is a Bogdan reel :!:

Best regards

Jacob: the reel has no size designation on it, but is 3 1/2 inch diameter and 2 3/8 inches wide (outer diameter of reel). I have the book about Bogdan, but have not started it as yet, so maybe I can get more relevant info from there.

John,

3 1/2" diameter.
That can be one of these models 50, 100 and 150.

All 3 models are brilliant for salmon fishing :D
I use the 100 for most of my salmon fishing.

Best regards

John, It was great seeing you at the Nationals. Thank's again for the Zebco box! I'll find the reel and papers one of these days to fill it. It will make a great addition to my Zebco collection!
I'm still trying to figure out how to make it to the ORCA Nationals as well. I hope I'll be able to see you there too.

Hey, and right back at you, Tom! Hope you can make it up to WI...would be a good excuse to extend the summer a bit longer!

Hey, Folks...Tom needs a Zebco 66 "Scotty" to go with a nice box I tripped across in a mall! If you read this and can lend a hand, pls do!

John, I was talking to Dick and he thinks the reel that came in that box was a silver colored model 66. Johnny Garland had a silver one, but I passed on it because it had a little rash. I would imagine it will be hard to find a nice silver one, but I'll bet there is one out there somewhere! I'll keep lookin'! If I don't, I'll be hitting Johnny up again... :)
