REDIFOR Model "D" aluminum reel with box lid 4/sal

Very rare circa 1910 reel with slide top box lid. Box bottom is not original, I will send original dimensions of the finger joint box to buyer. Reel is in EX condition, the automatic free spool functions perfectly, the aluminum shows a few light scratches. I would rate it 8/10. Rare chance to own a very desirable reel. $1,250 shipped and insured to lower 48, 3 day return privelege minus postage. That is a great Redifor box, even with the replacement bottom. I don't think I've ever seen one.
