Designed specifically for use with Leonard's 6-foot "Baby Catskill" rod (Model 36L), the "Fairy" reel measures 2-3/8" in diameter (inclusive of the pillars), the spool is 3/4" wide and the reel weighs a scant 2.5 ounces. The click is very fine.
This unmarked example is in exceptional condition and retains its sharp edges ...which are often seen rounded from cleaning and/or polishing. The are no chips or cracks in the hard rubber plates and the screws are perfect ...as is the foot. The protective lacquer still remains over the brass knob pin. It is likely the reel was never used.
The real deal ...in superb condition ...for just a bit more than the cost of a reproduction.
