Finally saw something in a soccer match that made it interesting. Some irate idiot charged onto the field to attempt to attack one of the Worlds best players, who deftly did a cool spin around, whapped the guy while in mid air, sent him sailing to the ground, then proceeded to practice shooting goals by kicking the hapless dude several times while he was laying there groaning. Cool stuff, soccer! Was on some early news thing this AM. May be on Twitter or such. Would qualify for a Darwin award but the dude will probably survive and send his genes to another generation.
Bad Bob
PS learned something else interesting about soccer. The name is derived from the shortening and alteration of association football. But can't figure it out as there are no As, Is, Ts, Ns, Fs, Bs, or Ls in soccer. One more strange thing about the sport. It seems obscene to have to play any game for hours without using your hands.
