I have an Edward Vom Hofe model 423 3/0 reel that is in mint condition. I am trying to determine its value and am considering offering it for sale. Would appreciate any assistance or referrals you can offer in determining value.

Regent...welcome to the board! Your reel is definitely a good one if in ex condition. Auctions over the past five years or have seen that one go in the range of $1000-1900...depends on the economy and who is in line to buy at the moment, given same condition. Market is down but would think you would not be far off at mid-range and sell fairly quickly, if offered at the low end of that range...hope this helps!
