Daylight Savings Time

Post by RAM »

Birds here are very confused, as usual, with the time change. Don't know when to wake up and start chirping outside my window. Dumb Robins didn't get started yesterday or today until almost 7:00!

Question: If I save an hour each day like they say I do, and don't use it for anything constructive, is there a rollover option? I mean, like if I don't use any saved hours for 24 days I could get an entire extra fishing day! Am I right on this?

Another question: Anyone know how to reset the clock on my Altima? Owners manual is misleading. It assumes too much from owner.

Another question: If my computer knows how to reset its own clock, why doesn't the car know how to do that? Enquiring minds want to know!

BB, your post reminds me of one of my favorite quotes...

"Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." - Will Rogers

Spring forward?...it's still Winter! :-?

Got the Altima clock set. Wife knows how to set clocks. Deke: What the h does H stand for? Pushing buttons on anything electronic sends me into a mild panic. Who knows what will happen!

I like DT. I get up early anyway, so the extra light after work is a bonus.

"H"?...well, that would stand for "hour", BB...I'm guessing that you will make the quantum leap to get the one next to it...that would be "M"... :D

Deke

ps: I'm with Ron...up at 4-4:30 and don't care about dark in the AM...I have a headlamp for golf :D

Dang! I thought that meant "Made in Hokkaido"!

Actually, my Altima doesn't have an H or M. Seems you have to press a combination of Seek-Scan after you have pressed clock. Found that on page 48 after getting lost on page 8 which was instructions for a special satellite radio-gps combination kind of thing. Anyhow, got it changed, but the radio has gone bonkers now and the trunk latch won't work. Oh well, so much for that.
