Am I missing something about that reel? why would a sand cast handle be used on a reel that had a fairly high selling price when new? or!---- did it get by inspection without grinding down the mold mark? anyone else on thoughts of this? as that is a fairly common handle for the time period, a good many other companies used like type handles!
