Allcock's brass fly reel - Price reduced!

Thanks to Ron Gast for ID'ng this as an Allcock's reel, based on the stamped stag. It's marked Alben's on the back with a stamping of a lyre and a stamped stag, as you can see in the photos. The reel is 2 1/2" in diameter, works like a dream, has a unique sliding line guide and a nice grip that seems to be hard rubber. The handle is missing the retaining screw but it doesn't come off easily, so it could be fished or displayed as is. The handle is stamped Left screw and "Vis gauche," the same in French. Also has a sliding on/off click button. This very unique fly reel is now $110, including shipping in the US (if paid with money order, check or cash) and $118 with Paypal.
