First I'll introduce myself..., I'm a Belgian collector, collecting ABU, Sportex and Luxor spinning reels.
My son (11) collects Mitchell round models like the Cap/304/314/.. en the smallest 308/408 types.
I have had some nice contacts with Orca members befor, but this is my first post in this forum.
I have been looking for more information on reels marked :
"L'Ory Depose". They exist in "flyreel"models and sidecasters.
All aluminum made wih plastic handle knobs.
My guess is they were made in either France or the U.K., approx 1940's ? Could be even Belgian ones... I have a bunch of old catalogs and magazines but haven't found even as much as an advertisement...

Any info would be much appreciated !
