$25 to $30 in very good condition. The one I have is plated brass and another I have seen was plated also. Easy way to tell the difference on a Montague reel is the spool spindle, if it is brass colored then the reel is solid nickel silver, if it is nickel colored then the reel is plated brass.

All the Alligator reels by Montague were nickel plated brass. One in Excellent condition 9/9 or better would be $50.
