Pflueger Templar 1419 3/4--
IB with paperwork, tool & hang tag, beautiful orange flecked finish on side plates. Box is in G condition with no tears. Missing knob on handle. $110 shipped to the lower 48. Link to Pics:

Yo Brian: Can you tell us about that finish? Of course, I could look up your earlier Reel News article, but just lazy. Also, what about the "N" on the foot?

I think the finish was mentioned in the article but I have not really learned much more about it since then other than that they are not as rare as I thought (thank goodness for the internet) One of the box/reel combos I have indicates Pflueger started making this version in the late 40s. As for the "N" stamp, never found out much either. Same for the "P" stamp on the backside of the handles. Can't recall they are on other reels either.
