RFMe, very nice gesture posting it here for us. It is appreciated. I don't have the deep pockets some others might have, but I'll sure enjoy looking at it. Jim

:o   :!: :?:   Now when will the hooks get put up for sale? Not to sound a wee bit ticked, if this lady knows her price it must be a wee bit high or it would have sold a long time ago, Why not take it to Langs? they seem to get what a item is worth, not subjective worth, As anyone knows to find original hooks will be next to imposible, unless that will be a new repo item? Now could it be she dont want to pay ebay or other auction sites commision? or ! greed will always superceed beter judgement! Like buying a well known reel and only the gears are missing or a first production LYAMAN boat only the bottom is missing. Do as you please, however why not list it on NFLCC site? they are lures, as Len says this thing ( has no handle) Col. Milton lorens aka SWIM JIG your OHIO Conection

Milt--This lady has had subject for over 8 years, did talk to Langs about
6 years ago and said the guy she talked to was overboard in agressiveniss and did not like him. My meeting was by accident as I said
before she is aware of value after reading about it. ANYHOW I will be
listing it on the Yates` site soon after ORCANS have an opportunity--Jack

:? 8) :?:   :type: Jack as I understand LANGS they are in the auction Business to make money for themselfs thus get the most thats posible in their auctions. I belive you are attempting to help this person however the avenues are very open! as for my concern is $10,000.00 ok if someone did buy either a member or a visitor a (donation say of 10% of thje selling price would be a very fair rate! after all all paid members of ORCA that pay their dues must also pay for a ad in most cases, Jack it seems (my thoughts) she is the one thats overbearing, or attempting tax problems, or for what ever reason is just greedy! If we allow this instance then a lot of items will or could be listed thru members and may well be 1 ( open to a law suit as a for profit selling site)2, have problems with folks Like Langs that have as I known helped promote ORCA & NFLCC, 3, if this relic is proven to be stolen or she cant trace its ownership then you jack are in some very deep trouble! ( seems as if somthing like that has as worded after his death the reels are GONE? just what Ive read on the ORCA SITE, of Bill crowley?) Check with Joe Klause he is a attorney and good ORCA member. with due respect Col. Milton lorens aka SWIM JIG OHIO Jack ever think those hooks are not on the lure for a reason? Heck I take the Bolts out of my good rifles for a resaon !

Haskell Minnow

Hello everyone, we have received numerous emails regarding the wounded Haskell lure. to answer the question, we have not been contacted by anyone regarding the consignment of this lure. I really don't know anything about the consignor or this lure itself. I only know what I have read here on this message thread, sorry, if I knew I would share the details with everyone.

Thanks for all the inquiries, I wish I could've been more help,

Brian:

I miss the picture of you and the fish. Its nice to see what members look like and the fish was interesting too.

Hope and Harvey and my comments didn't make you change your style.

Hey Dave,

Nah, don't worry, I was beginning to think it might be nice to have a change every year or so too! I'll dig it up again, or maybe find a similar one.
