Zebco Reel

Post by Big Foot »

Can anyone tell me about a Zebco One reel, ie, age, worth, etc.
Never saw a ONE before. Chrome, cone, 2 handle crank. Just curious.
Thanks to ORCA.

There were actually three versions. The "One", Omega One, and One Classic. I'm at work right now, but when I get home I'll pull out the production records and see in which years each was made.

Sorry, but I really don't know what they're going for on the market.

(hmmm) The "One and the Omega One were made from 1973-79. My production records stop at 1985 so the One Classic doesn't show up.

The One was basically a 33 on steroids and as such was a very sturdy reel.

My example of the One has a fluted front cover with diamond knurling. I think there may be a version with a conical front cover. Which one do you have? Zebco marketing would make up "Gift Sets" and they had the reels 24K gold plated. The only "production" One that I have is one of those.

If you have any other questions, let me know.
