Wow,
How many can you get in the cab of a Pickup? If Knoxville is on your way, I wonder if there would be a chance to hitch a ride. I can bring a couple dozen doughnuts. My wife reads this forum and would like to go too, and if there is enough interest, I can bring my neighbors new puppy.
By the way when you come through Tennessee, you should have a gun rack in the back window of the Pickup, that way everybody will know you are a REEL fisherman.
Also, it is not generally known in Michigan, but you don't need a trailor liscence here. So if your trailor plates are missing, nobody will say anything. But don't unhook, since all trailors are common property if found unguarded.
It is a good 8hr drive here from Angola Indiana, and about 12 hr to Texas.
Milt used to be around here some, and he can probably give you pointers on your drive plan. And, you could get some of Milts Reel polish (Metal-Glo). if you stopover at Pigeon Forge (Smoky Mountain Knife Works). Just bought 3 tubes for $9.82 including tax last week.
Just plan on stopping at my house overnight. I live just a few miles off exit 81 on Rt 75. If you have HARVEY, I can show him my Shakespeare reels and maybe he can tell me which are KTC knockoffs.
Dale.
