Help wanted to ID old lures

Post by snoekjaeger »

Just found these 3 lures in a old tackle box (I actually bought the box for the reel that was in it, but had to buy the lot...).
Someone knows a lure collectors forum I might give a try ?
Or perhaps someone here knows something about these ?
All made of wood, details from small to large :
1) plastic lip, length 3.5 cm
2) metal lip, kinda special construction of the line attachment, length 5.5 cm
3) metal lip but doesn't look original, glass eyes, length 11.5 cm

PS : I am not looking to sell these

I'm thinking these are likely homemade (folk art). Not my strongest area, however.

That was my thought about the larger lure, especially given the eyelets used. However, the smaller ones are probable store-bought and can likely be ID'd by time spent leafing thru Karl White's early book. Nice for display, but not of high value.
