Here are photos of only two strikes I had, but great catches. The biggest bass was 23 inches long and pulled 7 1/2 lbs. on my Langley scale. What a large head and body.
Using a Heddon Pal tubular steel rod, Shakespeare "Marhoff" reel, 12 lb. braided nylon line, and a #2000 full size Creek Chub darter in Silver flash color. Largest bass I've ever taken on surface lure! What a great two strike morning of fishing.

Second bass was almost as large, but had a deformed tail end of it's body. It was still 21 1/2 inches long, but not as heavy as the biggest fish.
