Momento From The O.R.C.A. Convention

Brought home from Frankfort a leather covered rod tube which belonged to Roger Herrett of Defiance, Ohio, 1946 National Junior Casting Champion. Roger's dad was The National Casting Champion in 1928. Don't need more stuff , but thought this was a bit of history too neat to pass up.

That is a neat case, Jon and glad you got it! Roger is a nice fellow and gave a great talk. It was also fun to see all his and his father's tackle. I swear that cover on the rod case is either elephant or rhino skin...maybe we should do a DNA test!
