A&I Sincerity bait reel / GONZO [gone]

This is very well-made bait casting reel marked Sincerity by Abbey & Imbrie. The reel was made by Union Hardware in Connecticut and is a trade reel version of the Samson. The Sincerity is a neat design, with a hinged front plate that reveals the gearing, all of which is in excellent condition. The reel has some plating loss on the backplate and top pillar, but overall is VG+ condition, both in appearance and mechanically. Very nice aged crank handle, too.

Richard, I'm not into Conventional reels but I have to admit your's is cool with the side opening to allow checking and greasing.
