Milt, we all love you but...

Post by Reel Geezer »

Milt, I share this with our Board in good humor and fun.

Yesterday I was typing Milt's column for the Reel News. All who read this board know that at times Milt has some typographical errors. His column for March is about Langley reels. Langley does not use numbers in their schematic drawing - they use letters. After using up the alphabet, they started over with double letters, ie: AA, BB, etc. I was typing away when I came to this part, and it just cracked me up.

"Wash and dry MM and KK and set aside. NNow take off the handle nut..."

I got to laughing so hard I couldn't continue. Maybe I can finish up my work this morning.

:D  :D

Double letters

Post by bobhalver810@hotmail.com »

Milton is our GEM folks, and I'm not suprised with all he does, and is doing these days that he doesn't come up with triple letters! Phil, your note made my day, I too got a laugh from it. Remember Milton, we are not laughing at you, but WITH you. This man is a valuable assest to the world, and not just the fishing reel collecting part of it. Keep up the good work Milton, and you can add extra letters to my emails any day. Bob Halver

Carl,
You be sure and take care of Milt. Milt does get his point across even if he has to type for an hour to do it.
And by the way. he DOES know what the "Shift" key is for LOL

Post by orourke »

Carl:

If that big reel Milt brings is a Coxe. It won't make it back to his shop. I'll grab it while he is looking at Len's little Indian. So any of you going to the Ohio show bring your big Coxe  Can't believe I just wrote that.
