After a few glitches with a previous site, Al has set up a very useful site that contains many links relevant to our hobby, including us! There is good evidence that our board is getting a good bounce off that site as people do searches for info on their reels. Site is here:

Have a look...and if you know of other sites that aren't on his list, i'm sure Al would like to hear from you!
Nice job, Al!

Re: Quick shout-out for member Al Stover
Al has been very active this year in ordering catalogs from the library. I just mailed an order which was heavy in Shakespeare rods and other catalogs. I believe this means he is doing a great deal of research. I think he will make a real difference in ORCA!

Thank you John and Don. I have learned to appreciate this site and it's members. I can only imagine the burden of Being the President of this Organization. I have also been trying to think of a way to thank for the burden he has in taking care of the massive amount of literature resources in his trust. I do order stuff from Don frequently and he never hesitates to go to town and have it copied and then package & mail it. If others are tasking him as much as I have, He is truly an "Iron Man"
I have had nothing but a most pleasant experience dealing with the folks on this site. I won't name all of you that I have spoken with or that have offered up parts I needed but I will render my most precious and serious "Semper Fi"

Your Fiberglassflyrodders Wiki link needs correction to its current location. You have linked to an old version, which will be taken down.
http://fiberglassflyrodders.com/wiki/
Better still, why not link to the main site:
http://fiberglassflyrodders.com/
There is also:
http://ultralightflyfishing.com/
Interested in hand-made reels? This is new this year:
http://www.fredcrouchreels.co.uk/
There are literally thousands of sites you could link to but where do you draw the line?
