Edward vom Hofe Model 721, size 12/0 reel for sale. This is the very scarce early version of the Commander Ross series of reels that was made for only a couple of years. This one has a serial number starting with the letter V which means it was made the last year of production in 1929. Most Commander Ross reels are the later model 722. The Model 721 was only made in the 10/0 and 12/0 sizes and does not come with rim levers or a head plate spool bearing oil port cover. The reel is in excellent condition and looks as though it was well taken care of and has no pits, cracks or chips.
