Ron - I believe this was brought up to the Board a while back, and we were to study the concept. ... hmmmm. I think that's where it ended.

You might email President Andy Foster to get some discussion going on the concept. I'm sure it would increase participation.

Ron,
Phil is correct, this was brought up at one of the board meetings. I'll be sure to raise the issue at the next board meeting during the Nationals in Texas this year. I'm all for it, and agree that it would increase participation.

:) :?  :!: :?:  OK as I see it that would be a nice way to do this however some form of security or pass word would be needed and posibly a pass word set to not be able to use only once, Our Computor person Paul posibly set that up, I certainly would not my vote used by someone other than myself! Our ballots are now color coded and that to could be used wromg! As i see it we may need to issue and I know its work a membership # loke The OHIO GUN COLECTORS USE! and as long as we are paid members our vote counts ! FOLKS we as members do sign up new members and or Club grows as it should do. Now Ive created another mess! Col. M. lorens aka SWIM JIG in a very cold OHIO

I think we should just leave the voting the way it is. If you can't afford to mail in your vote, just send me a self addressed envelope and I will send you a stamp!

I thought a little bit about this and it would be nice to have the option to vote online or via email or through the mail. However, as Milton mentions, we would likely need to be assigned a membership number to enable this. It could get sorta complicated for Roger and company to sort out votes from all three sources as well as remove any duplicates.

It would be great if everyone was online, and could login. Then we could just have the voting on this board! However, that will never happen.

Harvey is probably correct, that it will just remain the way it has been. However, the thought of making it automated is a nice one!
