Very rare pair of Mitchell 408's with consecutive serial numbers, #964040 and 964041. The Mitchell company made close to 20 million fishing reels during the 40's through the 70's. What are the chances of finding 2 with consecutive serial numbers?! I broke both reels down to the bearings, removed all the old grease, and re-lubed with Quantum Hot Sauce. They function like brand new, including nice crisp bails. Some light cosmetic scuffs and scratches from prior use. These would make a great gift for a father/son, husband/wife, etc. Asking $200 OBO.
