WANTED TO BUY - 4/0, 6/0, 9/0 & 12/0 reels

Post by reeltackle »

I am looking to buy some good salt water wall hanger reels and rods at reasonable prices.

I would like to buy several 4/0, 6/0, 9/0,12/0 and larger reels to use for decoration in a local restaurant.

The type of reels I am looking for include:

Pflueger Templar reels
Pflueger Oceanic reels
Other Pflueger salt water reels
Ocean City 600 series reels
Montague reels
Vom Hofe reels
Also, similar or oddball salt water and big game reels
NO Penn reels and no junkers or beaters.

So if you need to liquidate some of those old salt water reels that nobody wants that have been clogging up your closet or garage send me a list with some photos and some prices or give me a call. If the reels have problems like cracks, missing screws, missing chrome please include that in the description. If the reel has any mechanical problems please let me know that as well. Please keep in mind that I am NOT paying top dollar for these reels, I am looking for reels at reasonable prices.

I am also looking for several nice bamboo or wooden boat and trolling rods (no surf rods) to go with the reels. The rods I am looking for need to be in very good condition with all of their guides and working reel seats. The rods CAN be re-wrapped and re-varnished but need to look vintage. No decal or unknown maker, that's OK. Again, no beaters or tomato stakes, no rods with missing guides or bad ferrules. If you have any larger reasonably priced trolling rods for 12/0 or larger reels I would be interested in those too.

Now might be the time to liquidate that stack of bamboo rods and lesser salt water reels that you bought 20 years ago when you first started collecting that you thought you would never be able to get rid of.

Also, please keep in mind that the reels and rods that I am buying I will be marking up and selling to the restaurant so the prices need to be reasonable.

Thanks,

Ed Pritchard

Still looking for these reels plus some nice split bamboo or solid wood trolling rods with working reel seats in very good condition. Paying reasonable prices, not top dollar as these are for a restaurant,
Clean out that closet now!! Any big Ocean City 10/0, 12/0, 14/0 or 16/0 reels out there for sale?
Thanks,
Ed
