Are any ORCA members collecting, fishing or studying side cast spinning reels? I have several I’d like to get rid of. I don’t really want to take photos of each one, so take your chances.
1. Fre-Line, Model 10BC, seems to work fine, some wear to the red cover.
2. Another, cover worn a bit more. Good.
3. Weber Spin-X, seems to work OK. Some cover wear.
4. Good-All, light cover wear, works OK.
5. Johnson Model 20, looks nice, but doesn’t appear to work right.
6. Johnson Model 10A, worn cover and edges, but works OK.
7. Shakespeare Cast or Spin Wondereel Model 1770. Some wear and dings, but appears to work.
8. (bonus) Shakespeare Wondercast top of rod spincast. Beat up finish, but maybe it works. They have a great drag.
This is part of 105 reels I purchased from a widow. Her husband loved yard sales. These 8 reels will fit into a medium flat rate box, which costs $12.65 to mail. I’d take $25.00, including shipping, for all 8 reels and the buyer will have something to fiddle with for a while and maybe fish with, or collect. That’s only about $1.50 per reel. It’s better than a yard sale.
PayPal only. If interested email me at pwhite at oldreels dot com.
Anyone interested in sidecast spin reels?
