Reel Collection For Sale

Greetings Folks:

I posted back on June 18th that I have a reel collection for sale. Clearly one size doesn't fit all so I'm breaking it down by brand as I know some collectors have their favorites in the universe of reels. They are priced in groups by brand and I'm looking to sell big chunks of the collection, if not the entire collection at once. Selling singular reels is not what I'm looking for.

I originally attached some photos, more for a sample of the types of reels I own rather than a detailed look at the entire collection. I'm pretty persnickety about my things, so it's safe to expect most of these reels are in collectible condition, some new with the box, and those that are used were used and not abused. It would be impractical for me to take pictures of everything that's for sale, but if there is a serious interest, pictures can be arranged. Better yet, if you're in the vicinity of South Jersey, come and inspect them.

Although you clearly stated that your intent is to sell collections - NOT simply individual/single items, I'd appreciate your considering this request.

I am VERY interested in your DAM Quick 700B Champion reels - particularly the NEW one. I am a fairly new collector/refurbisher, and I have been searching for a new 700B to compliment a new ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 5500C, cir. 1976. The new 5500C holds tremendous sentimental value to me as it is the exact same reel as I received as my first "real bass reel" at Christmas 1976 when I was 15 yrs. old.

I've only recently discovered that DAM Quick made the 600-800B's as a direct competitor to Ambassadeur 2500-6500 baitcasters. In adition to Abu Garcia, I have always been a HUGE fan of Quick reels, but only spinning reels, as I had no knowledge of their baitcasters.

Long story (my apologies), but would very much appreciate your considering my buying either the NEW reel, or the other 700B you've listed. I have found other 700B's - in excellent condition (not new) - selling for approx. $35-$50 on eBay, and in fact have negotiated a deal on a MINT/near new reel for $45 total with shipping. Again, I would MUCH rather buy a NEW reel.
