Before Bronson went into mass production of reels they started by making top-quality reels like this solid nickel-silver "Precision Bilt" reel. These seem equivalent to Heddon, Horton and higher-end Montague reels in quality of construction and detail of aesthetics. This example has a double-knurled front rim and knurled caps, one of which is missing its agate.
The close-up pictures make this reel look worse than it does in person and I think with a little effort it can be made to look even better. Everything works as it should and the reel is running smoothly.
