Fishing time for us northern folk

2 days and counting, and i'm not talking about the show. Walleye season opens on this side of the border at midnight tomorrow and i'll be trying out a vintage Heddon trolling reel for the first time. I'll see how it stands up to my newer Abu reels. Hey Col.( swim jig ) know of any hot spots on Erie? I believe that is your neck of the woods. I'll be fishing somewhare near Point Pelee. yay-banana jump Canadian

cool-thumb yay-banana Canadian USA Ok I have know idea where you fish, (I fish in the water)ha ha If you are close to ohio get between PEalie ISLAND and KELLYS island on my side, go to the line its marked well and troll from west to east at 24 to 33 feet with a reef runner in purple or if you use a spoon use MONKY PUKE, thats the color they are still small yet running around 11lbs. If you get into Us waters then 3 are the limmit for now, If you do the Canadian side , they are running decent in the St. Clair river along with some very large SMALL MOUTH on the Canadian side. If you are fruther North and fish near TIMMINS Onterial send me a email at I will email you gordons ADDRESS and phone and email , best I can do for now! We are geting them at night off Vermillion OH in 7 to 9 ft of water on reef runners!
