I'm not a fisherman unfortunately, and received this in a collection of woodworking tools. This vintage Shakespeare Thrifty Model FE reel is marked 1902 and it looks, and feels smooth, and well cared for. I haven't done anything to it except wife it with a dry cloth.
I don't know its value, so I'll take offers. It deserves a good home!
