This Pflueger reel has no model name and only says Pflueger on the face. Here are some pics, does anyone know when the reel was manufactured or any other info regarding the reel, thanks.
pflueger reel question
Re: pflueger reel question
Bad Bob might come along and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe those models were manufactured from 1900 to 1920 and maybe a little later. I believe Pflueger started stamping their name on reels maybe the later half of the 1900s and then reel model names later.

Re: pflueger reel question
This is an early reel, probably pre-WWI. It has the characteristics of the reels showing up in Pflueger's 1907/1908 catalog. Very few of these early reels were named and most are generally just stamped "Pflueger" or not at all (for trade reels). What is the size of the reel? (Look at the bottom of the foot.) If you provide the reel size, I can look up the model number for you.
Re: pflueger reel question
Hi, thanks for the info, bottom of foot has "60" stamped.

Re: pflueger reel question
Bad Bob will be showing up with a collection of little RP Pfluegers that he wants to sell as a group at the Nationals, so if anyone is in that market, sent him a PM or email!
Re: pflueger reel question
I put this reel on Ebay for anyone who wants an early Pflueger. 25.00 is the starting price.
