Convention Pictures from "EL"

Post by Harvey »

Here are some pictures sent to my by "EL" Lawrence. (I love calling her that!)

If this was a beauty contest, I would vote for "EL!

Here is "Mello" Nello Armstrong with a nice bass.

And finnally Colby Sorrells and his catch. (If Colby was 6' 11" tall, this would be a "Keeper!)

By the way, These are three of the people that made Columbia Lakes happen. We can't tip our hats enough to the 'Texas Five"!

Colbys reel

Looks like Colby is a class act. That is a Coxe reel on his rod isn't it?

Bronson Reel Company

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha ... Whew! That really takes it out of me.

Love to see those Bronsons. Hey did Colby win a prize?

Glad you all had fun, I was up here working on budget numbers.

Maybe next year ...

We weren't in the real "fish catchin" boat... I think Phil was pulling them in pretty well as was Ben Kocian. Final results should be in REEL NEWS too... and for the record the fish I am holding was not a tournament bass, but caught as a "warm up" a day or so before the big event on water elsewhere in that neck of the woods.

No tournament winners in my group but lots of good sports... and any fish on old tackle is a "keeper" in my book even when they all go back into the water!

Now all we need to do is start a collection to get Harvey new glasses...
