Pflueger Trump- Bait casting reels + Info on Braided lines...

Post by REELLIFE »

I have 2 questions...
1)- Would like to know more info on the Pflueger Trump bait casting reels. Not familiar with this reel as compared to some of the other Pfluegers. It looks like it might be of some interest for tournament casting.
2)- Where, aside from e-bay, might I obtain some dacron braided line such as Green Spot. I'm keeping in mind this for use in touranment casting that has held my interest recently.
Appreciate the input from the ORCA nation :D .

Cabela's & Bass Pro have it but I don't think they carry it in less than 20# test.
These 2 have it in 12# test:

As does Amazon in Black: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084 ... g200_i1_sh
Just to name a couple of places. I'm sure, though, that there are probably a few others out there that handle it, too.

In the hierarchy of Pflueger reels in the 1950's the Trump is near the bottom in both original price and quality. Selling originally around $2
