Shakespeare Au Sauble Fly Reel
Someone had a Shakespeare Automatic on E-Bay and called it an Au Sauble. I have seen manual Shakespeare Au Saubles. Did they also make an Automatic with the same name?
Re: Shakespeare Au Sauble Fly Reel
I believe Colby may have one, he is working on the AuSable reels

Every Shakespeare 1835 I have ever seen has been a Silent Tru Art and every Au Sable has been standard here's a rough 1865 Au Sable

Re: Shakespeare Au Sauble Fly Reel
Don't believe there are any automatic Au Sable Shakespeare fly reels. The Au Sable line was single action fly reels. But perhaps someone knows something I don't! The example mentioned does not show "Au Sable" on it, just has it in the description. Colby

Jon....Colby is spot on. No Au Sable in the Automatic line. Strictly single action.

That's what I thought. A friend in Arizona questioned it after seeing the E-Bay listing. How are you doing? Jon
