I'm not an expert, but I am familiar with that reel. What were you wanting to know?
Re: Daiwa AG750 Ultra Light Spinning Reel
I have had a couple of those over the years. They also were part of a travel kit in a plastic case with a 4 or 5 piece rod. Along with a fly reel and some cheap flies. The reels don't hold up very well. Most I have seen had broken bail holders. Daiwa made a bunch of fine spinning reels but this was not one of them.

I agree with arley. Daiwa made some really good quality aluminum bodied reels around the same time period. The AG750 is one of their early graphite bodied reels and they were not all that great. They did make some aluminum bodied reels with a rear drag that as far as I know we're only sold in Japan. Those comand a pretty high price. They made C, D, and X series reels with aluminum bodies that were sold in the US that are pretty nice, but they were all front drag reels.

Let me clarify, I'm not saying all the older graphite bodied Daiwa spinning reels were bad. All the ones with a body style like these are quite nice, but not rear drag reels. I like these two quite a bit. Great casting with the long spool and the ones pictured have been upgraded to multi-bearing reels and are very smooth. One really nice thing with Daiwa reels is most models that are single bearing models can be upgraded to 3 bearing reels by removing the nylon bushings on the drive gear and replacing them with the appropriate sized bearings.

Re: Daiwa AG750 Ultra Light Spinning Reel
My top 5 Daiwa reels:
1. SS series - especially the 700ss.
2. TG series - also sold by bass pro shops- identical reel
3. C series - especially the 500c . Big ones 2600 up are workhorse sw reels.
4. BG series- bg10
5. GS series.
Hope I have not hijacked this thread.

X and D series are very similar to the BG and GS series once you add bearings in place of the nylon bushings. Several of the parts will interchange. The grips on the handles are different.
I really like the D1000 and 1000X reels and they can be had at a fraction of the price. I do not fish saltwater and I believe the main drive gear for the BG10 uses a stainless steel shaft where the D1000 and 1000X has a brass shaft. The gears look identical other than that. I have several pictures of disassembled 1000X reels if anyone wants to have a look at the internals. I own some D1000 and 1000X reels and they are basically the same reel, but I like the silver color of the 1000X instead of the black D1000.

Also the 2 graphite bodied reels in the pictures I posted earlier are made in a very similar manner to the 700SS. I have upgraded them to 3 bearing reels. I didn't bother to add a bearing to the worm oscillation gear, but it could be done if I remember correctly.
Poor man's 700SS!!!

Here is an internals view of my ST600H Silverline on the left and the 700SS on the right (picture of the 700SS was found online). Very similar reels but the anti-reverse on mine is an audible clicker housed inside the reel body where the 700SS has a silent anti-reverse housed under the rotor. My reel only had one bearing but I added two bearings to the main drive gear. Very smooth reel and great casting with the long spool too.
