I just received this "fishing inquiry":

Are you interested in buying my fishing rod and reel or can you find a buyer for me?

I wanted to sell a fishing rod that I have. It comes complete with a fish that has been dead for a while. I keep trying to chase off the flies to prevent the maggots from eating the fish. I figured that it would be more of a collector's item and more authentic if I sold it with the fish and thus could show that it was an effective fishing rod and reel set. The only problem is that it is starting to stink a bit and I will need to sell it fast, thus I can sell it for $10 under your assessed price.

I saw the name on the rod and the reel, and they are the same. The name of the maker of them is "Deanna." I believe that it is a good brand name. Probably rare because I haven't heard of a rod and reel combo with that name. Maybe it is very unique and it is one of a kind. I guess that would raise the asking price by a lot.

Thank you for helping me out. If you can help me with a sale on this rod and reel combo, I will give you a discount of an additional 5 cents.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Doofus Fishmongerer

Consider it sold, but I can`t remember my address or your name. And
I don`t have a computer. I`m in the library, do you take Green Stamps ?

Deanna brand rod/reel combo

I am glad to hear that you are interested in my rod/reel/fish combo.

 I am not sure about Green Stamps. I might be persuaded to accept them only if I can trade them in for fishing trips on boats that have peeling paint and rusty anchors with frayed rope. :D Oh yah, and squeaky, rusty metal wenches, oh, I mean "winches" to pull the anchors up.

However, concerning the computer situation, I am sure that they will let you "borrow" it once in a while. As long as you smile and bring a BIG bag for it.

By the way, you will need to make an offer quickly for the fishing rod combo that I am selling because yellow jackets are also starting to get to work on the fish carcass. Please let me know soon because I don't believe I can keep it much longer.

Sincerely,

Doofus-Fishmongerer

The reel is obviously in poor shape if she can't tell Diawa from Deanna.
