That was the American Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Association. I'm sure it's morphed into a different acronym today. I really need to know when the show was held in 1952 (dates/month) because that's when Ralph Lafferty met the Borgstroms. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1952, at the Hotel Conrad Hilton
in Chicago, and 165 manufacturers
displayed their1953 lines in 184
booths. But even before the 1952
show occurred, AFTM warned
its members not to sign contracts
with any show producers for the
next year as it was planning to
sponsor its own show.
