Olympic 91 Spinning reel from Japan

Post by LEF »

Anyone know about this reel. Couldn't find it in Wright (2002 ed), or on line. I believe it is for a lefty and has an extended drive off the back (like a Seamaster). Any information would be appreciated. Will try and get pictures tonight. Thanks

Interestingly enough, and since the 3 companies were somewhat intertwined throughout the '50s, '60s & early '70s prior to Olympic's bankruptcy, detailed comparison shows the Olympic 91, the Compac Continental and the Hurricane Paragon as being the same reels save for the perforated spool on the Continental & Paragon.
