As the side plate says, it was made by the Airex Corporation, which was a Division of the Lionel (yes trains) Corporation after Lionel bought controlling interest in 1948. Bache Brown (USA Luxor fame) was a technical adviser and designer for Airex/Lionel. Here's some old discussion about the various spinster models.
Most of the discussion doesn't get model specific, but from the limited info shown in your posted photo, if it has a 3 piece handle akin to Mitchell but with a pinned round knob it is more than likely a Model 3 from 1953ish. Not real valuable, $10 or so in the condition of yours.
