Well, I'm thinking ahead to the 2017 ORCA National in Branson, Missouri, and how I'd like to have a display of skeleton fly reels that have been adapted to other uses, or customized for fishing, or modified for some situation which we might not even imagine today. I have 3 reels in these two photos and I'm interested in acquiring more skeleton adaptations. Please let me know what you have at the bottom of that box of bizarre old reels.
Thanks! Richard
Here's two, including one with a 2-to-1 multiplying gear (won in the recent Lang's auction), at right, and a cool skeleton with an added-on click.

Then there's this unusual skeleton-reel-turned-chalk line, with the chalk dust inside the copper tubing to which the reel is soldered.
