"PUNCH" Spinning Reel

Post by wrong99 »

Was not aware that the French-made "PUNCH" spinning reels were distributed by Ocean City, until I came across this box. Anyone have any idea what regular PUNCH model (Mer, Atlas, Ocean or Saumon) this No.105 might have been equivalent to? I know these are rather obscure. Thanks.

Nice find, Mark. Too bad the reel wasn't with it. A lot of wholesalers distributed that conglomeration of French spinning reels. If you really want to get confused checkout Margou & Week-End, et al. :loco: Your head will be spinning by the time you're done. :?

Thanks, Tom. So THAT'S why they call them 'spinning" reels!

You were lucky enough to find a box for, I think, one of the most confusing reel consortiums ever assembled.
