Back from the graveyard?

Post by Reeltyme »

I just thought I would post a couple of pictures of a reel
I just finished cleaning up. This Pflueger Ohio came back from a close "this goes to the parts". This reel was COVERED with Nasty! I had purchased it with a very large group of reels at a local auction. I thought there was no hope for this one. I decided that I could either use it for parts or clean it a little and try to get a few bucks for it. I did not expect this out come! There was so much grease on the inside it would barely turn. I could hear someone in the back ground saying to their son,,, "put more grease on it son, it'll work better!"

Really nice work! That was a true Pflueger workhorse and historically a great little reel. No telling how many fish were caught with those models over the years.
Keep on!
