Are there date codes for Garcia reels? If so, what would it be for a 308 No 059154

There are for the 300 & a few others but nothing specific for the 308 other than they started with the alpha prefix/numeric system in '71, i.e. A='71, B='72, C='73, etc. With that # it will more than likely be early '60s. Where is "France" located, on the side above the A/R lever or on the bottom of the foot? Also, it should probably have the spring loaded handle flip not the screw type. Post a couple of photos, the best you will be able to get is a fairly close range.
