What's in the March Reel News?

Post by Richard Lodge »

Better late than never. The March issue of The Reel News is about as big as it gets, at a full 68 pages, including the 2017 Membership Roster.
Here's a look at the cover:

And bundles of the magazines stacked and ready to be bagged and delivered to the post office this week:

What's inside? A great piece on the cool Plexiglass Hypnarowski reels, more insights into the Shakespeare/Marhoff reel story, a look at Meisselbach "go-withs," one man's search for the ultimate rare reel for his sidemount collection, and a lot more.
I've also included lots of details about the 2017 ORCA National Convention, along with a registration form. Yes, the form is in the wrong part of the magazine to tear out but it can easily be photocopied and mailed in to Roger Schulz, the club's secretary/treasurer.
So be patient. The latest issue will be mailed soon and at your door before you know it.

Still waiting for mine. Sure is strange how erratic the mail works. Especially Non-Profit mail.

Same here Mark. Still waiting as well. The weather here in the northeast is probably the issue.

Wonderful articles in this issue----more information than anyone could want. Some really good history that has been reopened---and the tracking of a super find and how to get and catch it. If you want reel history and answers to your questions---this magazine is the holy grail.

I'm pretty sure a small storm the other week held things up a bit.
