it's a clone of a Hardy Silex spinning/casting reel. But I couldn't tell you the model name.
We need Stefan Duma to visit.

Hi there I think it is a Farlow New Spinning Reel No 2 Pattern circa 1924.
The No 1 model was called the Farlight and was patented in 1908. I would like to see the inside of the reel to confirm this.
Regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan here is a shot of the inside of the reel. There is a set of bearings under the round disc on the face of the spool and the reel is 4 inches in diameter . Also would be interested in knowing the value if you have an idea what its worth. Cheers Russ

Hi Russ the second model is possibly worth $200-400. It is like the Hardy Silex reels but nothing like the first model which is very intracate. I will try and find a picture of the first model cica 1908 to give you some idea.
Regards
Stef
