Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?

That explains why every reel offered on ebay is *RARE*.

I do NOT dumpster dive! Now pickup bed diving, that's a whole different subject. Besides, I only saw a couple screws that I could use. Problem is they were on the bottom of the pile and I would probably have to take the whole load to get to them!

Better bring your chainmail or knife proof gloves and updated tetanus shots. There's bound to be a few hooks in there!

I know a couple of guys that could overflow their "rare" parts bin stash with that load.
Wonder if the drill works?
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

i went to the april 8 annual show at the medina ballroom just west of mpls.,near the end i was asked if i wanted to take on 300 and some reels, we talked about it a bit and i declined when i was told most were newer stuff so i didnt get to see them and i didnt get quoted a price .----i will say that its a friend of mine for many years. i cant be sure if these photos are the ones i was asked about but that kind of a pile cant show up every day. one sure thing is if i bought it was going to be local pickup only.

I went to Wayzata High School. The Medina Ballroom was the local hangout.

I'm pretty sure that pile is way more than 300 reels. I think we should do that Christmas party game and guess the number of reels.

On the brighter side, it is a good photo to show every antique mall dealer in the country with a $60 price tag on a beat-up Pflueger Akron.

Need a tetanus shot before you go after those mint reels.
